From the cruise terminal we will take a sightseeing boat along the river Warnow to downtown Rostock. Enjoy the view of the harbour, the first informations about the city and a cup of coffee. After about one hour "cruising" we will be in downtown Rostock.
We will see:

• The city hall from outside and market square "Neuer Markt"
• The majestic St. Mary's church with its astronomical clock (inside)
• The oldest part of the city with Nikolai church and St. Petri church where we can take the elevator (or stairs) up the tower to get a great view over the city
• The University of Music & Drama which is located in an old monastery and is a combination of historic and modern architecture
• The old city wall and some of its remaining gates
• The former monastery which is now used as the History museum
• The University building (from outside)

We take the tram and local train back to the Cruise terminal.
Of course there is time for lunch in a restaurant, an afternoon cake&coffee break, photo and shopping stops in this itinerary.
